‘How to Drug Proof Your Kids’ is an innovative programme from
Care for the Family.
It is specially designed for parents, grandparents and aims to help them:

Become better informed about current drug use and related harm
Develop strategies to help children make informed choices about drug use
Spend time examining their own beliefs and attitudes about drug use
Gain community information and access to support

There are six sessions which explore:
Drugs: How bad is the problem?
Why kids take drugs
How to educate kids to make good choices
Prevention tools for parents
Learning to intervene - and where to get help
How to handle relapses







Courses are presented by Dr Margaret Griffiths and are held at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Plassey Street, Penarth. CF64 1EN
